Here’s a link to my article about great train rides you can still take in Michigan. There are three wonderful wilderness train rides in the UP — The Tahquamenon Falls Wilderness Excursion, the Soo Locks Train Tour, and the Agawa Canyon Tour Train ride.

With fall colors almost ready to pop, riding a train through these areas would be an incredible way to view them. Of course, there’s always the reliable Sunday cruise in your car if you’re chomping at the bit to get an eyeful of UP beauty!
